I don't know what he is capable of thinking, but that's a kind of fucked up thing to put him through.
- Pretty sure he's only in a defensive posture because the plate was just plopped right in front of him. Crayfish are cannibalistic scavengers so this would actually be a welcome sight.
- They aren't really capable of higher thought. They can basically feel an equivalent of pain and then it's just basic instincts.
