Disturbing reports continue to emerge about mass graves in Gaza in which Palestinian victims were reportedly found stripped naked with their hands tied, prompting renewed concerns about possible war crimes amid ongoing Israeli airstrikes, the UN human rights office, OHCHR, said on Tuesday.
Isn't it obvious? Genocide. They want to be the next US, Australia, or Canada. Kill all the natives, or enough to make them not a threat anymore, and take all the land for themselves. Only difference we're supposed to know not to do that anymore.
I think it's mostly vengeance rage, they think the Hamas attack on civilians allow them to use any means to find the Hamas soldiers, including killing civilians. While some extremist parties may covertly push for actual genocide, I don't think that's what the military tries to do in general.
Motherfucker there is NOTHING covert about this shit. This isn't an extreme position in Israel, genociding Palestinians has been the policy of Israel since it's inception.
I see where people might think that if you're just looking at the immediate context from the October 7th attacks, but I urge you to look into the conditions Palestinian people had been living under for decades, especially in Gaza. Rather than vengeance, when you look into the history, the October 7th attacks feel more like an excuse to go full throttle into carrying out what the Israeli government and hardcore Zionists already been trying to do for a while now.
I understand it's easy to blame Hamas and the Palestinian resistance for Israel's disproportionate and genocidal response, but the second Nakba was long coming.
Additionally worth remembering that the normalization process was nearing its conclusion by October, Israel was well on the path to buying off all of its neighbors and achieving total regional cooperation in the next Nakba.
