Is there a source for this? Like, it jives with my mental model of the guy, but it would be nice to have a source.

1 0 ReplyIf everyone I’ve ever heard use the word thinks it’s jive, at what point does that become correct? Isn’t that how language works?
1 0 ReplyIt becomes the accepted meaning after a formal dictionary adds it. To my knowledge, no dictionary added this meaning yet.
