firefox too, chrome is about to gimp adblockers
6 0 ReplyUnless I'm misremembering something, haven't they already pushed the changes?
... I could be misremembering ublock origin saying they already have two flavors worked out to support gimp chromium vs real browsers.

Absolutely essential. SponsorBlock is very nearly as important, and BlockTube also does a lot of annoyance damage control.

What is the easiest way to get YouTube with UBlock and SponsorBlock on a LG TV? I don’t care about any other smart TV features, already have a Jellyfin server.
Some little device plus some installer…?
6 0 ReplyMaybe have a look into this? https://github.com/webosbrew/youtube-webos Though it does requires WebOS Homebrew Channel
Else I found a firestick works fine with SmartTube , but it's got all that amazon bloat over it so perhaps a raspberry pi would be better instead
1 0 ReplyFor webOS Homebrew Channel, if you have a pre-2022 firmware then you can go to rootmy.tv and it installs the homebrew channel as part of the process

Maybe FCast and then using GrayJay if you have an Android device? It's an option, but there's probably an easier way.
1 0 ReplyNo android device. Looking for something I can plug into a HDMI port and control with a remote, not depend on a phone.

2 0 ReplyMozilla Firefox with ublock works both on your PC and phone. You can disable the YouTube app so it opens all links in Firefox by default.
