No. The cure to male loneliness is PC LAN parties where everyone hauls their giant-ass desktop towers to the school computer lab/similar space for Day of Defeat and Counter-Strike.
- If we dont play at least one match of Age of Empires 2 Im not coming!
  
  So good. I think we also did Warcraft or Warcraft 2. I would personally add Unreal Tournament to the list.
- Where the first two hours are trying to get the network stable.
  
  Yes, the "this sucks, we'll never get it working" period made the, "Holy shit, it's working, we're all on the same map!" period that much sweeter.

  I've had this plan to throw a housewarming lan party, but I've lived here for a year already so it feels a bit dumb lmao.
  
  I would love to do a LAN-party, but all the people I know that would like to come to such a thing live 4+ hours away 🙃

This is weird to me because I used to have go to lan parties at my friend Owen's house

I went to one of those at my friends' high school when I was a teenager. It was a lot of fun and I knew most of the people there.
Trevor Noah did a good job talking about men's need for intimacy on the Daily Show.

It is, it really is. There's nothing better than gaming with the boys until 3AM lol
Also Halo 3 one of the best games of all fucking time.
- Wiring up Xboxes and playing with the duke was great but those early days of wacky forge builds and revolving game modes like rocket race was peak Halo
  Seems like the further we get away from LAN parties and towards everyone online in an open world from their own couch, the worse Halo gets.
