Speaker Mike Johnson on Wednesday kept his fractured conference in line long enough to hold Attorney General Merrick Garland in contempt for defying GOP demands for audio of Biden’s interview with former special counsel Robert Hur.
- Republicans already established that contempt of congress isn't a thing you need to worry about.
  
  I'm pretty sure a good percentage of the global population has contempt for the US Congress. They're rather well known for being dysfunctional infighting buffoons who somehow accomplish fewer things of value than your average toddler brawl.
