Ukraine seeking to eject and assimilate ethnic Russians in eastern Ukraine and Israel seeking to eject Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank are actually very similar.
The ethnically defined pro-western group that seeks to eliminate the ethnically defined “other” is supported by the west.
And how similar were the liberal takes about Hamas and LPR/DPR, and accusation about Iran/Russia help.

They are actually very consistent and not hypocritical at all if your ideology is colonialism. That's why calling out hypocrisy doesn't work, that's just to keep us busy.
You'd think they'd be condemning the Ukrainians for using violence against the Russians. But I guess their bloodlust and racism against Slavic people spoke louder.

I would argue that there wouldn't be much of a Palestine left to talk about if it weren't for Hamas, Israel would have probably successfully purged them from the country. We all saw how effective the last peaceful protest went over.
Ukraine is almost done, I think it will end next year, hopefully Isn't real will follow pretty soon.

I mean … one of these is a violent conflict where mostly civilians are being hit, on both sides. The other is a country defending itself from an invasion. One of these is really complicated and I’m pretty sure violence won’t solve much. The other one really isn’t complicated on the same level and violence (defense) is pretty much the only choice.
Yes. The Palestinians are defending themselves from an invasion by another country while Ukraine and Russia will have to find a way to peacefully live next to each other.
Unfortunately isn't that simple. Also consider, for the most part Russians and Ukrainians are both Christian or secular. The intercultural "divide" is played up by both governments and the war makes it possible. Now look again at Palestine/Israel.
