  • The first part? Abso-fucking-lutely.

  • This was a high profile case that was all over the news for weeks. And frankly it looks like a slam dunk for the prosecution. The Biden Justice Department absolutely would've brought federal charges.

  • Not sure how you figure that. Trump is not exactly hands off with the Justice Department.

  • Not at all surprising and it wouldn't have been any different under the last administration. From the whole "rule of law" perspective you can't really not go after somebody who committed premeditated murder on film just because his target was someone that people didn't like. What the jurors decide to do is a whole different can of worms (although if you ask me to make a prediction, I think they most likely find him guilty).

  • How does one prepare for global catastrophe?

  • Pretty sure they used them in spring training too, so there's a larger sample size than just a few games.

  • I didn't find myself running out of them very often, and trust me, it's not because I'm super good at video games. I think what it provides is a prompt to stop and think. If you find yourself without any (and I'd really only say it matters at bosses) then you probably either need to rethink your strategy, maybe go level a bit first (there's almost always another branching path you can take, or even a chalice), or just buckle down and get serious. The game also gave you a core mechanic to restore health without using blood vials. I dunno that it's a perfect system but I didn't have any issue with it. Estus flasks that encourage you to back off to safety while you recover were much more suited to the style of play in the Souls games. If you could heal that fast with a reusable thing, I don't think you would engage as much with the health recovery system, which was really what the game wanted you to do.

I'll also mention that I did not find that it took long at all to farm them when I needed to. There were several early areas where you could restock quite quickly.

  • A lot of animals see cute baby animals as easy food. Although some also see them as scary since they often have angry parents around.

  • Like I said...not everything is meant to be frictionless. I'm sure a lot of people think losing all your soulsblood uh somethings? isn't fun, either.

  • 20 vials is a lot, if you're dying that much you should probably go somewhere else. Not all interactions with games are meant to be frictionless.

  • Whether it was a "quarter eater" or not was a big one. Some games were seen as having unfair levels of difficulty that were just designed to take your money. Take something like Haunted Castle as an example.

  • I'm curious what combat changes they'll bring. The second ps2 game was much better than the first one imo.

  • At least it didn't return search results for vibrating buttplugs.

  • Aren't they sisters? Not sure how you define "wholesome" with succubi.

  • Don't fuck with Great Blue Herons. They have razor sharp beaks and an instinct to attack the eyes.
