I remember seeing it in PC World and dreaming about having one. 9800 GTX and raid 0 drive setup awoooooga.

Mostly remembered it because its designed featured in Recovery of an MMO Junkie and I was like "i know that case!"

  • When I first started playing tutorial videos were pretty much mandatory its not really something you can learn organically.

  • Are bedtimes bourgeois?
  • My cat makes me go to bed and wake up at specific times and she extracts all my surplus value and turns it into treaties and belly rubs so i think yes

  • Love walking through the barbican it makes me feel so smol, photos don't really do the scale justice those concrete pillars are huge

  • Never touching Linux again
  • If you still have windows on the drive you can use a windows boot drive and potentially might be able to recover it and the boot files.

Otherwise the drive can be wiped and setup again using diskpart https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/how-to-format-hard-disk-during-installation-of/cc409a0a-5c64-4fa4-951a-061b8a4215b6

I hope there isn't important data in the drive. If you have something to backup your data with I'd suggest that first

  • Anyone here played enemy territory quake wars?
  • The release window was pretty rough. It was also a format of game geared more towards PC audiences and online only games just weren't that popular at the time.

Brink more of the same but suffered severe technical issues. I really enjoyed it myself playing it offline for the most part.

Dirty bomb is perfect and idk why it even failed

  • Anyone here played enemy territory quake wars?
  • Yeah I knew that. I never played Wolfenstein enemy territory back when it came out but I remember it had quite a dedicated fanbase

  • Anyone here played enemy territory quake wars?
  • I rather enjoyed it even with bots. Very much a kinda reskin of battlefield 2 with shiny 360 era graphics and some orbital strikes for good measure.

I think its still got people playing online with community servers. Haven't tried playing on them though

  • Anyone here played enemy territory quake wars?

I played it on xbox entirely singleplayer and i just remembered it existed. I never hear anyone mention it wondering if anyone actually played this game when it was out

    Feminism and Astrology
  • Humans and mysticism is pretty much a fact of life you can't separate the two. Most people will have their own personal set of rituals that don't have any basis in material reality but are done anyway for comfort and trying to feel some level of control in a chaotic world. I don't really see the importance of focusing on one specific kind of mysticism and correlating it to feminism it doesn't really make any sense to me. The fact that some people like astrology doesn't prevent or interfere with feminism they're not contradictory.

An aggressive dislike of it is more of a red flag to me tbh. I have my own silly little rituals I do to make me feel better. If I believe an item I have gives me good luck and I take it with me when I go outside am I now not a marxist because i hold contradictory beliefs between political ideology and the concept of luck? I don't think so

Hollowbody is a solid if rough homage to silent hill

Very silent hill inspired survival horror game made largely by one person. Visually its very well made, gameplay is about as clunky as I would expect and voice acting is a bit hit and miss but overall still refreshing to hear new voices. Music so far is pretty well made.

Enjoyable romp if you temper your expectations its not going to be super polished.

I don't think its on par with say signalis but at least its not so violently anti-communist

Weird enjoyment for old yellowing offices

There's a certain type of old office with the yellow windows, cielings, walls and blinds. Strange stains everywhere and visible ducting all over the place. It feels homely to me. Modern offices feel cold and without soul, lighting is too bright and lacks natural sunlight. The offices of old you get the yellowed softened sunlight showing all the dust particles in the air.

The one i went to was basically empty. Areas cordoned off with a handful of staff left. A random bucket in the middle of the room to catch a leak. Dark corridors and flickery tube lights. I sat in a room with the window open listening to the breeze rustle the tobacco stained blinds.

Anyone else got this absurd feeling or just me?

Finished lords of the fallen (2023) and i hereby decree its a solidly ok game

For all its flaws I had a solid amount of enjoyment in the 50 hours of playing this game. If anyone else feels like playing its currently on gamepass or wait for a steep sale and pick a strength build cos everything else fukin sucks. Also pick a starting strength class because playing the nude class is pants mostly because about 70% of the weapons in the game aren't even viable.

Art style is on point its such a good looking game at times. But at others its an unreal engine 5 blur fest
