I mean, at least they're up front about it. If a Nazi is breathing, they're lying, but I've had commies straight up tell me that I'd get the bullet too.
Wow, it's almost like Donald isn't the class traitor here. Weird.
We don't need to be inserting our military or projecting power into this. I would like to see us broker a lasting peace without lobbying for national self interest. It'd probably be a good idea to offer to work with China here, as I seriously doubt that they want to see a nuclear exchange happen next door. This war won't help anyone, especially if nukes get involved.
But, then again, I think this puts us a bit ahead of schedule for the post-nuclear horror, right? Too bad we couldn't get Irish re-unification first.
Frankly, I don't. I read something about it a while back, and I remember being really disappointed that he was stepping back from that.
Dunk hospital, welcome to the Dunk Ward, I'm your Dunk Nurse today, what brings you in today?
You got dunked on by WHO?!
We got a pope, they got a cope.
It's stupid and meaningless, but hooo boy it gave me a whole 0.2 seconds of dopamine saying that.
Well, a few things:
- they say the only bad press is no press.
- We're at a moment where anger against the wealthiest people on the planet has never been higher, except maybe during a revolution. Bill is among this group, and he's likely cognizant that Dingus and Doofus up in DC are exacerbating that sentiment. Maybe he's hedging his bets to keep from getting put against the wall.
- Didn't he fly to Epstein Island? Wasn't it shortly after we found out about that that Melinda divorced him? Probably not the most recent thing he'd like to be remembered for.
I really don't think that overcrowding is doing it. Look at the United States, we're absolutely sprawled out as a motherfucker. Modesto looks like a bomb went off that blew away everything taller than one floor. We're suffering from a huge loneliness epidemic.
Maybe instead it's the perception of crowdedness? It could be that we're only wired to receive a certain amount of social stimulation, and at that, from a fairly small group. The Internet has stuck a stick of dynamite in that and blown it all over the beach. Maybe it's just more than we're wired to cope with?
I'm not kidding, I think we're getting dementia on a societal level from microplastics and I'm worried it might be too late to turn back.
Or "that's irrelevant!"
Oh no, not my ego!
Nah, I saw a year or two back that Bill was pulling back from his climate and disease philanthropy. I think this is just him jumping on a chance to do some PR by dunking on Musk.
Nobody, but I voted for Harris. Last I saw, Gates was cutting back on donating to his foundation that fights infectious diseases in the developing world.
No fate but what we make.
Living in 2025 has got me feeling like Sarah Connor about fucking everything. At this point, I'm pretty sure we're just a few months out from the Faro plague, and when it breaks out, the Trump administration will ban government officials from talking about it by adding it to their list of banned DEI words.
Cool story, Bill. Who did you donate to? Why did you cut your philanthropic efforts to fight climate change and disease? Why have you and your buddies fought for minimizing and coopting government for years? Bill isn't innocent in all this, it's just a good time to blame Elon. Don't get me wrong, Elon 100% deserves it, but that doesn't mean that Bill isn't playing the PR game here.
Good to see that they made the right call.
It's still incredible to me that there were democrats that insisted that Biden had possibly the best debate performance ever.
Holy shit, are we siblings?!
