I see, so all instance admins can see that theoretically, but regular users can't. I don't remember where I read what I wrote, can't find it now.
It's a bit misleading that lemmy developers themself call votes "essentially anonymous" like in this issue: https://github.com/LemmyNet/lemmy/issues/4088
With this in mind I will go back to upvote memes with my other accounts, and switch between them more regularly.
Afaik on lemmy only your host instance knows what you upvote/downvote, instances just sync the number of upvotes, not the users who voted. So they cannot analyze that, even if they spin up a their own lemmy instance l was wrong, see reply
Comments are 100% public though, that's true
It's a map of countries, not languages... There are a lot more situations in Europe where the boundaries of languages don't align with political borders.
Some other problems:
- Kosovo is colored the same way as Serbia, but there are by far more Albanians live there, so it should be the colored that way.
- What the hell is the color of Switzerland. Is it colored according to the Rhomansh, a language spoken by 40 thousand people, 0.5% of the population?
this is a very shitty map.
This aims to allow the bounding box of changesets to be limited. The basic technology is the same as #4319 with the maximum size ramping up over a period of time for new users. The defaults allow n...
I found about this on lemmy, @MattMckenzy@lemmy.ml is the maintainer:
There are newer releases, obviously if you download an older build of windows, you have to download and install each updates manually. It's not a win only thing, it's the same with every os, e.g. download Ubuntu 16.10, it will take a while to upgrade to the current version. Windows 10 was released in 2015, I don't know which release you downloaded.
About the account, the answer is OOBE\BYPASSNRO
Use debian oldstable, usually 1-2 security updates each months, nothing else. If you need a newer app, install it as flatpak, they can't bork your system.
For those who don't remember the original of this was an ancient meme:
Edit:
Just how old this meme is: OSX 10.9 mavericks was the first free mac update, it was released in 2013. The meme should be created before that. Iirc Windows 7 was the first win with forced and annoying updates, it was released in 2009. So this meme should be from that era, 11-15 years old.
Edit2:
I found the original post, my calculations were correct, this is from 2011: https://www.stickycomics.com/computer-update/
22:53 to be precise: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bv_4sZCLlr0&t=1373
No, they are called metallophones, glockenspiel is just one of them. Other common metallophones are the tubular bells and the vibraphone
hence the name
AND is not coming from Android. Osmand is short for "OpenStreetMap Automated Navigation Directions". Source
IOS version is much newer, that's true though
Ublock Origin is not an option? It automatically updates blocklists, and can block ads served from the same domain as content, where hosts based blockers can't help.
Afaik dns based blockers like pihole are useful for locked down systems (iphones, smart tvs, consoles, not rooted android phones) where you don't have access to other ways of blocking ads.
Was the result of the Hungarian party higher than expected? How did they get 500k votes in the EU election, but 300k in the local? Do some Romanians vote for the Hungarian party as a kind of protest?
There is an official foss telegram client in the main f-droid repo. Packages on fdroid are built from source by the fdroid build server, not developers uploading their apks like on play store.

There is a really small chance it's compromised and could got unnoticed in the source code.
That's changeing: in the ongoing SFC vs Vizio, SFC is just a regular user: https://sfconservancy.org/copyleft-compliance/vizio.html
Even FSF updated it's FAQ, that it's not true anymore: https://www.fsf.org/news/fsf-to-be-deposed-in-sfc-v-vizio-updates-relevant-faq-entry
I promise I won't get all political

He was the leader of the avant-garde group The Eight.
He was appointed as Government Commissioner for Arts and got an art school during the short lived Hungarian Soviet Republic in 1919. He had to leave Hungary after the collapse of the republic.
He was rehabilitated in 1926 and could go back to Hungary where he lived as a acclaimed artist until his death in 1940.

MR: https://gitlab.archlinux.org/archlinux/packaging/packages/pacman/-/merge_requests/1
An issue: https://gitlab.archlinux.org/pacman/pacman/-/issues/91
To find your already installed debug packages:
pacman -Q | grep -e '-debug '
This debug packages usually huge, I noticed this accidentally, and I haven't found a news about this on archlinux.org
To solve this add a !
before debug
on line 97 in /etc/makepkg.conf
