  • They are ment to listen to the people in their state and put forth bills or amendments to bills to help the people of their state they represents.

What really happens is they enrich themselves with insider trading and do stunts to keep their name in the headlines even if it hurts people they represent. The reason this works is journalism is effectively broken where it's all about sensationalism vs actual truth. So they more crazy the stunt the more your name is out there.

They put forward amendments and bills that were written for them by corporations that donate to their campaigns / lobby=bribe.

The reason it works is the vast majority of people ether vote because their party affiliation is wrapped up their personal identity or vote for the name they last heard. Also the vast majority of people don't vote at all. So they are not incentivized to actually represent.

  • That's every other country other than the US regardless of economic system and China is not really communist. Totalitarian yes but they have this weird mesh of capitalism but the government can shut you down at a moments notice to benefit the state or more the officials in charge. America by no means superior but giving credit to a economic system is just incorrect. I could build trains all day long if I could bulldozed anyone's home and build with zero regulation for heath and safety. The impressive one is the EU. Different economic systems working together with a working rail system between countries.

  • The reason has nothing to so with higher quality. They just do cost cutting of not having to create lighting and pass the cost on to the customer by having us raytrace and thus requires more horse power that GPU makers failed to deliver.

  • Advice from a dentist

Be super gentle and just drag across your teeth very slowly on each side and on the top. No need to go back and forth just make sure get close to your gums with only a soft brush head.

  • DS9 is the perfect sweet spot that they got by chance of fighting with Rick. The early seasons were more episodic and thus more character driven. This gave characters lots of growth. Then when you do that for a few seasons bam. Cool multi episode serial arcs that put even modern shows to shame with flushed out characters modern shows only dream about and becase you are not locked in to one format or the other. You can have a fun baseball episode to blow off some steam in the middle of a war.

Healthcare workers should have combat like ribbons like the military has. Like first responders got during 9/11.

With all the CGI/AI corpse puppeting that keeps happening. At some point someone is going to remake Triumph of the Will with an all star cast of recently deceased movie stars.
