Of course it was dumb question lol
Did anyone make some headcount? Like nice graphics when and how many people died, in TOS dead are in nearly every episode.
When I cross post (mastodon/lemmy) I try to reply to lemmy comments with lemmy account and vice-versa. This time I didn't checked it so some comments don't show where they should.
Yes I think that the hops made it to foam and it may cause some oxidation. (As someone else suggested).
I think that it is temporary mastodon problem, I can't view anything on that instance.
I posted the link here few days ago - https://www.carstenboll.dk/how-to-make-home-made-cider/
My reply to you doesn't appear for me on Lemmy (this is posted from my mastodon account).
So here it is for the others:
yes, if you want to know more: https://mstdn.dk/@EvilCartyen/113198511530283716
It is much better resource than what I wrote on Lemmy year ago. He also writes about what you can add. In my case I make cider from whatever apples I can get my hands on.
It is super-easy to make cider - like seriously. At the most basic level, all you have to do is press some fresh apple juice and then leave it to ferment. Once it stops bubbling you have cider. This is a hobby which is only as hard as you want
Short writeup on homemade cider. It is easier than it looks.
Because selective breading is technically a form of genetic engineering/modification. I think it's fine and we do it for thousands of years.
New methods make it easier, faster and gives more options what to do (modified proteins...).
I had a conversation with my brother about them. They aren't used where I live because our trams have gps and modules that do the same thing. And how Prague isn't able to do it because they messed up digitalization...
From logo I assume that this modified T3 is used in Prague.
Sorry the only one that I used is in Czech. If you want to look it up:
"Pivařka" ISBN 978-80-7565-108-2
It has more general information (little bit useless for homebrewing) but half of it are recipes.
Any recipie book for homebrewing.
It just gives you ideas what to do, you have to figure out/iron out the techniques. They are for each settup different so with any book/manual you have to tinker with it yourself.
The glimpse:
If you don't know anything about Westworld - don't read reviews...
The mindfuck from the first season is worth it when you go blind in to it. The soundtrack is making the vibe of it even more disturbing/disorienting.
More general answer than you expected, but...
I really like when the sound design in movies makes sense - it "plays" in radio, gramophone...
For example "Black hole sun" cover in first episode of Westworld is just brilliant and caught me off guard (I didn't know what it is about).
I swear that after first bad batch, we disinfected everything and still the next batch was bad.
And after hearing that more people had problems with it (off taste) it looks like it may not be our fault.
It's only this year's problem, it looks like bad batch of them.
Ohh I didn't mentioned it in post. In our case it was chemical taste.
I heard from my boss that on Czech FB brewing group was discussion about US-05 from Fermentis.
Someone had issues with them, even commercial brewerys. We had to throw out 2 batches of IPA so it was probably because of that - same flaw both times.
So it got me thinking if it is only local issue or if it is more wide spread.
It is one good thing that somehow survived 90's chaos - public transport.
One year pass for all ČD trains cost about 900 €/year; most cities have year pass under 200€.
There are lot of them, even in communist regime there were made good films. I would probably suggest something from the pen of Zdeněk Svěrák.
Kolja- this one got Oscar
Nejistá sezóna - tragicomedy about theater players.
Loads of comedies like Trhák, Jáchyme hoď ho do stroje, Kulový blesk...
These are classics https://m.imdb.com/name/nm0006664/?ref_=fn_al_nm_1
Sandbags are being prepared in Austria, Czech reservoirs emptied, and flash floods expected in Poland.
At least this time it is taken more seriously than in 2002.

I didn't watched it yet but it is always fun.
Shamelessly stolen from mastodon post about protection efforts in Czech Republic.

This one got my attention because it is in retro color scheme. It was on regular line but runs also sometimes on H4 line here, so it is museum piece.
Hi is there some project, instructions or some github repo for converting 360° video and GPX file to something like street view?
I would like to map this way local cycling routes.
This is meant as general discussion thread, so share everything related to brewing - questions, ideas, what's fermenting etc.
As discussed in my recent post here I will pin it for about a week and do another thread in a month and we will see how it goes.
Mastodon thread: https://infosec.exchange/@kevinrothrock/112991078285465383
Volební kampaní se bude zabývat i Ústavní soud. Předseda opozičního hnutí Tomio Okamura řekl, že v kampani hodlá pokračovat, trestní oznámení a stížnosti označil za metody politické konkurence.
You maybe guessed it - inciting hate against person or group of people.
It is in Czech but translation is so easy now that it probably doesn't matter.
First cleanup - I just don't think that the pinned posts are necessary, they are linked in sidebar. But it has some problems with federation (it wants to open them in browser). So I wanted to ask for your opinion on this.
And suggestions:
- is there audience for general discussion thread once in ~3 months or something like that?
- should I add some thumbnail picture?
- what else?
Just to be clear I don't think that this community needs more engagement - quality over quantity. Since my hobby became my job I didn't homebrew for about year, so I don't have much to post here (but I try to be active in comments).
So I want to hear your opinions on this and some suggestions.
