I just wanna blow shit up and have a good time. I like a challenge for sure, but what they did was just silly. I remember getting back online a couple months back and realizing all my favorite guns had half the ammo and felt like I was shooting bugs with a nerf gun (pun intended). I played one mission and got so frustrated I quit and haven't played since. Instead of buffing the weapons nobody was using to make them more fun, they nerfed all the fun weapons so all the weapons felt like ass.

I remember reading a while back that they nerfed the grenade pistol so it only had like 2 or 3 shots per resupply. As the only guy that probably ever used it, my only thought was "well why the fuck would I even bring it than?! What the fuck do you expect me to do with two fucking shots in my gun?"
- I don't get the rationale for nerfing stuff in a coop game. Being able to feel overpowered and feel strong and still be fun for everyone is one of the strengths of coop over pvp.
  
  Also, that's what difficulty settings are for... Which the game has.
- Grenade pistol was great for clearing bug holes / fabricators from a distance. Easier to aim than tossing a grenade. I still prefer the auto cannon for both of those tasks though.
  
  Autocannon is life
- They brought it from 8 to 6 from what I remember, and it was a godsend in closing bug holes without an explosive support weapon. 6 isn't great but they also upped the resupply amount which was the real downside of the grenade pistol.
Yeah, because the developers realized that the game being hard and unfun was hurting their player numbers.

- I'm glad the helldivers are eating good, but warframe players are having three course meals every couple months
  
  more competition in the space is always good, helps keep the devs of my preferred game from getting complacent.
  
  I'm laughing though because I keep hearing about how bad a time helldivers players are having, despite the new content, like their devs/publisher keep learning the wrong lessons from the successes of other games.
I am afraid it’s a bit too late, lot of players already got burnt, and will not return.

I played again after many months and it was fun with friends and strangers alike, but it takes a long time to find teams on higher difficulties, if you are joining alone
I'm enjoying it so far. Only played a couple of missions but it's back to being fun.
