Yeah seriously, why are there so many more of them occurring than I remember there being when I was a kid? Global warming doesn't affect the movements of the stars and planets; shouldn't there be the same number of eclipses that there always has been? Why are they so often now? What gives?
And don't forget about all the (literally) record-breaking temperatures, like that day where the Artic spiked 39 C / 70 F in a single day (article). Ahhh good times... Hey, listen to all the bugs outside? Such quiet indeed.
Was out a bit ago getting some cleaning stuff and when I walked out the store, I just smelled an overpowering amount of pumpkin pie spice. I then had to walk past a Chinese restaurant and could smell fried rice coming from it, mixing with the pumpkin pie spice smell and now I have a lasting impression of pumpkin spiced fried rice in my mind. 😬
