Bloomington police say state Sen. Justin Eichorn, R-Grand Rapids, was arrested around 6 p.m. Monday for allegedly soliciting a minor for prostitution. House and Senate Republican leaders called for Eichorn to step down.

- Not that surprising. The Repuhlican leaders probably don't care, tthey're just not supposed to get caught.

MPR News generally does not name suspects until they are charged with a crime. Editors chose to name Eichorn following his arrest given his prominence as an elected senator. He has not been charged with a crime.
Is solicitication of a minor NOT a crime? Is this suggesting he may not get charged at all? WTF???
- He's been arrested just not formally charged yet. Pretty sure thats what they mean
- Arrested yesterday evening, booked, remains in custody. The charges are coming, they're just not all put together yet.
