Saw my cunt of an ex at Flagstaff station before, as I was on the train passing through. They didn't get on, or recognise me (I've lost 20kg, and was wearing a beanie and hornrim sunnies lol).

They haven't changed at all, physically or mentally, and I love that for them. Couldn't have happened to a better person tbh.

At the moment I am assuming everything missing has been packed into one of my boxes. Being tiny it is entirely possible he has slipped in with something else without being noticed. If so he is likely very safe with lots of soft packing material, but may not be able to return until unpacking happens next week.
Alternatively, he could have slipped through to another plane of existence, and Bacon is looking for him now? If so I'm sure he will be found quickly and will return to us very well fed.

I bought a new moka pot recently online. Brand name but it's having some issues after a week or two - lots of loss of water through the pressure outlet... None of my pots have ever done this so I'm assuming there's a fault... Can't seem to figure out a way to tighten anything... Fixable or no do you think?

Valve looks to be dodgy. I'd get. Replacement if possible. Or buy a new valve and try to replace that bit yourself.
- Just looked at valve prices and they're half the cost of a new pot.....
Hmm doesn't sound normal, can you ask for a warranty replacement?
Yeah, looks like a valve problem as it should only steam out of there when the pressure is too much.
Have you tried it with less coffee or a coarser grind just to make sure it isn't over filled? Same with making sure the water doesn't go above the valve

I finally updated my phone after a long time of putting it off. Everything feels so weird, but I especially miss the thunk my phone would do when I closed all open apps. Farewell, thunk, I will miss you!

I've been dismissing the update on my phone for about 2 months now. Unfortunately they're not designed to make phones better. Especially for an aging handset like mine

Onto book 4 of Helen Forrest's Liverpool autobiographies.

It is very interesting how Helen describes her family, particularly her mother.

Helen will recount a fact then write her mother's explanation, showing how her mother is abusive and lies and lies and steals and steals. And that's just the mother's better traits.

It's an interesting portrait of a female psychopath and the heartbreaking suffering of her victims.

Beach walk

The tide was very low , the dunes were full of chirping fairy wrens , I picked up 3 very nasty looking lures off the beach. And noticed sea anemones in little rock pools against the sea wall . These were yellow anemones, I've only seen dark red ones before. I took some pics. 😊

Seems like you're finding heaps on that beach.
Have to say when I'm down at the beach on the bellarine I don't think I've ever seen one washed up. It's a popular spot for fishing which is curious.
- I think a lot of these are jigs, lures for squid, it's a very popular spot for squid fishing. On warm nights you can often see little boats off shore shining blue lights into the water to catch squid

Cleaned my earbuds, and so I'm using old wired ones. They work somewhat better than the wireless ones?

Could you elaborate why they work better?
I may be able to shed some light depending on the context.
