The Day Before Offline Mod in the Works For Those Still Interested in Playing This Troubled Game

A couple of modders are currently working on an offline mod for the troubled The Day Before, which would add an offline mode.

I want to see the mod community take that turd and turn it into an amazing game. It'd be hilarious.
Why??? Unless someone actually fixes the damn thing and redesigns the whole game then it's not suited to single player or even co op. So much more development would be needed to make it enjoyable and that costs time and effort, possibly money too.
- Depending on how you value your time, it might even be cheaper to buy the assets yourself and make a better game that actually works.

Offline mode in an extraction shooter that was touted as being an MMO. How bad are people who want this being affected by the sunk cost fallacy?
- No reason not to try to get the most out of the turd you've paid for.
  
  Except the fact that Steam removed their 2 hour refund rule on this game and everyone who bought it is apparently getting a refund (people even getting refunds without asking for them).
  
  Honestly I have no idea why anyone besides maybe content creators would use this mod…hmm I think I just answered my own question it’s probably mostly streamers and YouTubers and a few people with morbid curiosity haha
Shitty game night just got a whole lot better.
