I barely watch western youtube anymore.

The formulaic approach to YouTube videos has made watching a lot of gaming content unbearable.
- Pretty much, that's why I don't follow big channels. Like I said I stick to foreign yt'ers. If I do watch english speakers it's usually for let's plays of smaller games. The big anglo yt channels are pure cancer.

  I'm always looking for Japanese YouTubers but I can't get YouTube to recommend any, no matter how much I watch. I only ever find anything by searching for a specific game name and something generic in Japanese.

I only watch cooking videos. And only because my child and I are both autistic with sensory issues, and we're looking for recipes we can both enjoy.

Tomorrow we're going to try making Sonny's mac and cheese, with just white cheddar, and skipping the spices (except for some white pepper, because it's invisible!).

To me it's always the American YouTubers who seem cozy and fun, from RLM to Noah-Caldwell Gervais, all the easterners I see are always selling some sort of sponsored megascam pyramid scheme skin cream skullshare timeshare first 10 to sign up get their balls crushed

Same. I think, for entertainment, the only western youtuber I've really watched for a hot minute is some old dude that's like in his 70s play red dead redemption 2. Outside of that I pretty much near-exclusively watch hololive/holostar stuff with Ruze and Shinri being the two I watch the most.
