I always look fondly back on when my brother would wake me up on a Saturday morning "quick, x-men is starting!"
I'm so envious that you have it as a job and a hobby. When I started coding I'd hoped I'd be one of those people that just whips up stuff in their free time for fun, but after finishing work I just find myself not wanting to code 😔
I think the rule of thumb is to at a minimum double whatever the recipe asks for
I have a piece of shit Samsung TV that needs replacing. When an app crashes I found holding down the standby button for like 20 seconds and then turn it back on seems to kill the apps on the TV so I can reload them.
No idea if it's a legit fix; but if not the placebo effect makes me feel better. Maybe other TVs could work the same way?

My parents, and my partner's parents and aunts and uncles all watch GB News. They seem to think that it's "the immigrants" that are causing all their woes even though most of them are now retired or close to retiring.
Gen X, Millennials, and Zoomers aren't the target demographic for GB News I suspect. I do hope it isn't going to sway the country to voting in Reform in the future.
It's a shame. Season 1 was bad, season 2 was watchable, but I really enjoyed season 3. It felt like they were finally getting into their stride.
I find it interesting that they have two different actors playing Clark and Superman.
I'm in the UK and it is on Netflix. I believe it's a syfy show. I think there are 4 seasons now but only S1&2 are available on Netflix here.

I've really been enjoying Resident Alien. It kept being advertised to me and I finally caved. Alan Tudyk plays an alien trying to be human so well.
How do we even move towards this level of change? It's obvious that we will not get the opportunity to vote in a party that does this. I feel like the course we are on won't change dramatically without some kind of revolution, and I would think anything like that would quickly get shut down before it ever begins.
It is legal, but under specific conditions. Better than it could be, not as good as it should be.
Probably. Likely to cater to the older generation of technophobes.
I wish people would all collectively agree that employers should have to pay for commute time to their offices. I would like to think this would quickly bolster WFH.

~ also GB "News" probably
Creepy, I too had a video popup on YT about it. Really sweet idea though around the memento for your cat!
Oh wow, that's cheap! It's £3.15 for a dozen large eggs here, so I think that's $4.15USD, $5.80CAD!
