Who are you calling an AI?
Ai has ideas? That's a bit of a philosophical stretch.
The average American conservative is not filled with organs like you or I. His body is hollow, lined with thick black velvet.
At my local city council. Every member is in the employ of local aristocrats (businessmen, landlords...). His job is to promote his employer's interests.
That's government.
Morality is a great tool for justifying legal enforcement of my desires. All it takes is a good argument connecting the two.
The arguments are getting less good here tho. They're getting very thin and flimsy.
What would happen if we threw away the moral argument?
What if instead of offering a moral argument for why you shouldn't pirate their movies, Disney just said "come at me bro"?
I hear that the average conservative has 2 horns and a tail. And feasts regularly on human flesh.
First paragraph addresses the overheads of running a biz.
Second paragraph proffers a specious moral argument.
A connection is vaguely insinuated.
Sloppy.
My friend (an old lady unfamiliar with pirates) bought a dvd the other day. A comedy from 15 years ago.
It had been censored. Offensive dialogue dubbed over. No warning on rhe package.

And the selection is VASTLY superior.
Instead of accessing only what netflix is "offering" today, I have access to EVERYTHING. All the time. Forever. Even obscure weird old stuff.

The president is just a face. It's the 100 invisible billionaires standing behind the president that make the decisions.
Could moderation be handled democratically with votes and such? Create a system with central authority and you'll just get people trying to be the central authority.

If it doesn't feel right then it's hard (impossible) to give a shit. I hear that a lot here.
Money, grades, the advice of revered authority. None of it works. I just blow it off. And suffer of course. But I'm still poking along.
But a couple of things have felt right. And those things go very well. I can draw, I can write software. I can successfully give my attention to a project like that.
One such thing is meditation. Whatever's going on with ADHD, meditation messes with it. I found the button in the center of my head that makes ADHD happen. It feel 100% right. It's like I found a magic thing.
So if you are an ADHD guy then maybe it would feel right for you too.
