So sad that we went through covid and people are still so idiotic to accept working while sick as a society. Paying for one person to stay home while sick saves far more than half of a workforce making mistakes and not getting anything done for 2 weeks to a month as transmission cascades. Not to mention the additional low performance month as their home life is disrupted by additional family members getting sick, or the probability of serious complications for key individuals of a large workforce. It isn't tough, or reasonable to perpetuate such a culture; it is absolute incompetence and lackadaisical ineptitude rooted in a paranoid conservative distrust of a small minority of potential abusers. Or really it is a willingness to harm and kill others instead of creating the potential for the oppressed and abused to cause minor but still insignificant retribution across the class divide.
Passenger's seat perspective. So from that angle there is nothing to do. It is always best to relax. There is a reason drunks often survive the crashes they cause that kill others. It is kinda hard to do in the moment without practice. In the crash that broke my neck and back, there are only a few moments of very hazy dream like memories that I've recalled over the years since. One of those was that I somehow tried to put up my hands or some way I tried to catch myself as I hit the jeep on a bike at 29 MPH. I only really remember thinking for a moment, "fucking never do that again" next moment I'm with some paramedics talking about getting me stable enough to transport and trying to get someone to call that could show up at hospital. I was only able to remember phone numbers and my address from when I was in highschool 10 years before and 2k miles away. I felt super stressed because I knew I was doing it but couldn't figure it out. I finally remembered my sister's number and relaxed, staying unconscious for 3 hours after.
That is what it is really like with severe head and neck trauma. Your conscious mind is quite disconnected from your limbic system. If you die, you likely won't even know. I had no idea how close I had come to dying until many things that came out of the personal injury case that followed and stuff since then...
For me, I wouldn't follow that kind of truck closely or casually at all. I'm aware of how it is loaded and the disconnect between the loader operator and low pay driver, on a truck likely held together with JB Weld and duct tape. But yeah, just relax. If you die, you die. No big deal. You won't even know it happened, so why stress.

Shady pico de gallo seeds are currently 2 tomato, and a jalapeΓ±o plant. I had one sweet onion decided to grow past the point of use, and I didn't have the heart to kill its dreams. I have never actually seen what one looks like when growing or how they seed or propagate. So I guess I'll learn this year. I haven't pirated anything quite yet, but only just getting my head around how early seeds actually need to be planted for the growing season.
Normal is someone you do not know well enough yet. It is a fictitious misconception. If you think about the concept objectively, you likely will not be able to name anyone you know really well that fits into the ideal group you have mentally abstracted as normal. The construct is part of tribalism and our human complex social hierarchy on a subconscious level; we are deciding who is and is not part of our personal tribe and their ranking within that hierarchy relative to our own. Everyone is abstracting on this level, but few are self aware in this space.

Run a scan to share what does and doesn't work on your machine so that others can see. Don't worry about it. This is a good thing for everyone and not some exploit. Check if others have scanned with the same hardware. Look at what kernel they are running and if it has the same problem or notes. You may see the hardware label and find other machines with the same that may or may not be working.

Placing privacy focused content into a user's suggested feed is likely intentional. Why would any platform actively promote content that is opposed to the company's business model. It seems rather nonsense for a place like YouTube to promote this type of content, yet they do. Perhaps that is intentional and purposeful. This kind of abstract and indirect problem solving is the kind of thing I am good at in a job if I am given objectives and time to mull over solutions.
Most humans display some kinds of paranoia. It is easy to spin privacy as a disproportionate evil because of the uncertainty of scope and motives involved. The act of suggesting a potential threat in the periphery a few times is enough to get most people to eventually engage with that content. It would be easy and effective to use this suggestive mechanism to push people off of a platform. This pattern loosely fits my experience. I bet it fits with others too. These platforms and ad companies have been hiring the best and brightest psych majors for a decade. All of that talent is used for something profitable.

It's a rather dumb plot hole IMO. I never met a drummer rocket scientist type.
