Edit: well so many of you have been very nice. I was sort of just being stupid (I wouldn't think of myself as beautiful, but acceptable) but thank everyone for their very positive comments. It made me happy to see the responses.
Ngl, I learned what the DnD monster Beholder was before I learned what it ment to behold. I was confused by that statement well into adulthood until I finally realized that a beholder is just someone who is beholding something.
a. eye of the beholder
b. beauty is not a default state of being*, it requires effort. How much effort of entirely up to you, if you like yourself with makeup (and yes this does go for men too) then use makeup, if you don't then don't bother. do you think you'd like longer hair? shorter? colored?
And if you think you're so uniquely ugly as to be utterly sure that nothing you can do will make you happy you may want to interrogate those feelings, there's probably more going on under the surface there.
* this does not mean that someone who is unwilling or unable to put that effort in is "ugly". this is about your perception of yourself. your perception of other is irrelevant unless asked for
I'm sure there's things under the surface, but I don't consider myself ugly or anything like that. I was sort of being dumb with my original reply. But thank you. I really appreciate it.
Never tried makeup, but I always have my nails painted haha.
If you think you’re not going to have changes in weight and body hair as you get older just because you’ve already gone through puberty, you’re going to have a bad time.
Btw, equating twinks to children is pretty fucked up and homophobic.
Or they could just be going from a twink to a bear. Yanno, no more shaving, muscle building, things like that. They literally said, "when a beautiful man" not "a beautiful boy".
i'm going to be charitable and assume that you just don't know better so here, but you should be aware that equating queer attraction to child molestation is uh. Not Good, actually.
I'm equating puberty attraction to child molestation. So yes, not good.
What your meme describes is puberty.
This period, which generally happens between ages 8 and 14, is when you develop from a kid into an adult. Your body goes through many physical changes during this time.
There is no such thing as 'second puberty', no matter what you want to believe.
You flip the gender and you can instantly see why it's a problem.
