Our rural population is very similarly aligned with rural Americans, which is why they’re all rooting that that vapid, low impact Trump-alike Polievre who is running essentially unopposed right now. "Governor" is the title of the heads of the states of the USA, but not of the prime minister of Canada. He has - probably through stupidity rather than actual malice, not that he is lacking in the latter - basically described Canada as a state of the USA.
