- Yep, it’s pretty fucking cool.
  
  Actually pretty dope. I'll still probably go with Photoshop for anything beyond cropping a screenshot though since MS sat on their hands for too long on making MS Paint better, and now I've got habits.

  That's my plan when Win10 gets too old. I've run Linux before (although not as my daily driver) so the only thing worrying me is choosing which distro...

Gimp gimp gimp
- I used Gimp about 15 years ago and I reached out to a guy who worked on Attack of the Show asking him for any tips on how to use Gimp. Surprisingly he responded to me and told me something along the lines of, "Dude, fuck that, just pirate Photoshop." I never looked back.
  
  Photo editing is sadly one of the few areas where FOSS is still massively behind.

  But in all seriousness, I am super excited for the future of Gimp. I feel like 3.0 going to be a turning point for rhe software, sort of like Blender had with 2.8.

Waiting for kolourpaint to have layers too
- they could make like kwrite, where they take kate and remove some funcions, but with krita, couldn't this make easier to develop?
