We Didn't Start The Fire
We Didn't Start The Fire
We Didn't Start The Fire
this song / attitude / philosohy etc make me sad, perhaps there was a fire when you were born, but it constantly hungers for more, and feeding it will get us nothing but burnt.
"We didn't light it but we tried to fight it"
I dunno man I feel like the song might actually agree with you
I always thought the song was the opposite. It says „We didn't start it it was always like this“ and continues to listen events during their lifetime that were not already always in motion.
I always interpreted the song as saying „This is how it's always been and we can't change it is a lazy excuse for not trying to change anything.“
False, we know who the firestarter (twisted firestarter) is.
The Roof. The Roof. The Roof is on Fire.
"I'm the fiyastata, twisted fiyastata"
TIL Will Ferrell was trying to look like the lead singer of Prodigy, with his character in Zoolander.
Yeah but we didn't put it out, either.
"no we didn't light it, but we tried to fight it"
Or as the Tiger Lillies sang: „It makes me quiet sad, to watch young people dance,
they could burn the discotheque, they’ve got every chance!
Start a fire, start a fire, start a fire today!
Ullman shorts, Christmas show,
Marge's fling, Homer's bro,
Bart in well, Flanders fails,
Whacking Snakes, Monorail,
Mr. Plow, Homer space,
Sideshow Bob steps on rakes,
Lisa's future, Selma's hubby,
Marge not proud, Homer chubby,
Homer worries Bart is gay,
Poochie, U2, NRA,
Hippies, Vegas and Japan
Octuplets and Bart's boy band,
Marge murmurs, Maude croaks,
Lisa Buddhist, Homer tokes,
Maggie blows Burns away,
What else do I have to say?!
Ryan started the fire!
op discovered nihilism
If anyone hasn't seen the updated version for this song by fall out boy, I very much enjoyed it.
It wasn’t burning when your parents grew up but they get a whiney pop song… it wasn’t burning when you grew up while that whiney pop song replayed…
If you’re sitting there now saying “we didnt start the fire” with a straight face you should jerk off into a mirror cause the world already suffered your bs so just turn inward.
It’s a song from a generation that took the country from the civil rights movement to trump. They poured gas on whatever fire they’re complaining about.
