  • Yes. Because my instance was down for a few days while it was updating and it broke. I came back even it was back up.

  • Its 100% replaced reddit for me. I haven't left Lemmy but I spend a lot less time on Lemmy than I did on reddit. Lucky for me Linux is my favourite thing so there is enough content for me to get a good browse in each morning.

  • I had a "vacation" just now got back from a week long mental hospital stay. Glad to say I am better and glad to be back on Lemmy. What brought me back? I missed it the whole time. Told everyone about the Fediverse too. You could say it was an........ obsession.

  • Yeah, I have. Back then I was active in a lot of political and semi-political communities, at first it was pretty decent and people were polite, debates with actual facts and links to trustable sources.

After a while though, people become more hostile, insulting and debated with emotions and zero facts. I just grew tired of it and wasn’t really active in any other community. So I left for 4-6 months.

Then one day got bored, decided to return to Lemmy but unsubscribed from every political community and I straight up blocked anyone who’s being a douche. I now stick a few communities (Piracy, gaming and books).
