I really like Darrell's licorice
Kinda expensive though and really hard to not eat the whole bag
I never used to like it. Then I got COVID. My taste and smell died and were resurrected one Easter morning, but all weird-like. Now I love black liquorice. Tastes like eating a tire but in a good way.
Ive never been able to explain it to people. I don’t quite understand it myself. But the analogy is accurate and I agree
I really like the black jellybeans.
Then I guess I'll see you in hell.

It was great when I worked in an office. I would all the black Jelly Belly’s because everyone could not stand them 🤣
They work well with herbal flavors like spearmint, wintergreen, clove, ginger, allspice.
But I'm weird. I actually like spiced gum drops and Necco wafers.
I don't like Black Licorice, but I love Necco Wafers! My grandpa would get them for me often when I was very young.
God I wish, liquorice is fantastic!
Get yourself a mix bag of Dutch liquorice, with some of the sweet, salty, and bees wax coated stuff. Soooo good, and a proper chew feel too, none of the soft rubbish stuff <3
When I was a kid, a sibling and some friends of mine would occasionally play "jelly bean Russian roulette", wherein we would get a number of jelly beans equal to the number of us playing, with one of them a black licorice, have one non-playing kid scramble them and "randomly" give one to each player, and then eat them eyes closed without seeing what the flavor was. Whoever got the licorice was the loser.
Dafuq is a strawerry?
Thanks for catching this. I went to the Libary to investigate. I believe the meant, "Strawbrerry."
haven't you heard? strawerries lost their berry status, and now they're trying to lay low and avoid the identity theft lawsuits
I'm really disappointed that the transcription didn't follow through with this spelling
Polish person living in Denmark here. The Danish lore licorice. I can't understand why, because for me it's disgusting. Half of their candy is licorice based. You have to really watch out not to accidentally buy something licorice flavored. It happened to me a few times. My friend once actually asked if the hot dog sauce isn't licorice flavoured, just in case.
The Danish lore licorice
Damn. I was really looking forward to Danish licorice lore.
Internet rule, even the most obvious spelling error because of autocorrect, will be pointed out. On the other hand, why did it correct love to lore? I'm pretty sure, the former is the more often used word.
"hot dog sauce..."
Heinz ketchup once tried to rebrand their ketchup as "hot dog sauce" to trick the good people of Chicago into accidentally tainting their hotdogs with ketchup. We remain strong and stubborn as ever, but that was a close one. Sometimes I feel like the people of Chicago would be more open to adding licorice sauce to their hotdogs than ketchup.
I love salmiakki, but then again I grew up with it
I love the stuff, but it's an odd choice for a candy all about flavor variety.
anise / fennel have a lingering aftertaste. Maybe Glycyrrhiza glabra too? Idk.
'once you go black.....'
Man that blueberry muffin combo is pretty great tho
