Nope, that's still a specialized execution method. Don't give them anything to cry crocodile tears about generations later. Tear them apart where they stand- this isn't about making us feel better, this is about ending an existential threat.
Slow hanging (purposeful) was one of the favourite execution method of nazis too, just they took it even longer since they were making pauses. So those ones got away easily, deserved worse.
