Some years ago I commissioned an artist on Fiverr to create several scribble-style portraits from photos. He’s been inactive for months now and I tried to find him on other platforms, but to no avail, and I could not find another who had a similar technique. Now I’d like to at least approximate his style with generative AI methods. Here’s a sample taken from the public Fiverr profile: Can anyone help me find a method to do this? So far, I searched Civitai, f.al and Runway but with no success.

Seen a lot of posts on Lemmy with vegan-adjacent sentiments but the comments are typically very critical of vegan ideas, even when they don't come from vegans themselves. Why is this topic in particular so polarising on the internet? Especially since unlike politics for example, it seems like people don't really get upset by it IRL

Trying to keep my very picky eater 3yo healthy as we're (hopefully) expanding his diet. Right now the only foods I can get him to actually eat are McDonald's, a specific brand of yogurt, banana bread, some crackers and some bars. Refuses any beverage besides water. (He's likely on the spectrum.)

I myself am ultra-left (quite literally communist, to the dictionary sense of the word), but I'd like to quit the bubble that inevitably forms around and look at good arguments of the opposing side, if there are any.

Is there anything in there beyond temporarily embarrassed millionaires and fears that trans people will destroy humanity? Is there rational analysis, something closer to academic research, behind modern ideas of laissez-faire capitalism and/or political conservatism?

For me absolutely not. I am only diagnosed as "sex disorder", got bad blood results, and I get pushed around, because no one feels qualified to deal with me. I feel like people treat me like a zoo attraction. I had psychiatrists ask me to show them my body and touch me, because they were curious. Doctors get angry with me for not yet being diagnosed, question why I'm not yet diagnosed, don't diagnose me themselves, and then end up telling me they're not qualified enough. And then the next doctor it happens again. They don't even do new tests, they do the exact same tests, then get the same results, then act angry and tell me to find a more specialized doctor. I was told by multiple ones I need a brain scan to see if there's something off there, but then no one forwards me to one. My blood results suggest I will or actively am losing bone density.

I don't want anyone's advice or input on my case tbh. I'm tired of people playing Dr House with me.

I don't just say that because I'm some jingoist hirka dirka, but I have first-hand experience with both. StimDate is much better than Novartis' Ritalin. I am a recreational user of Ritalin (I'm bipolar and been to the nuthouse twice over it, so Ritalin is not what I should be taking but I my medication makes me so tired) and I get my stuff off the black market. StimDate costs $20 per 100 tablets. Novartis costs $60 per 100 tablets. All the other brands cost some where in between. Novartis is still good though. The WORST Ritalin is made by India/Pakistan. These fuckers can't make shit, so they should not attempt to make shit. Last time I took Indian Ritty, I was manic for a month and broke several plates and a jar of olive oil.

I've seen so many posts of broken glass side panels almost like it's a meme around here but I have to ask, what do you do after that happens? Just rock the computer with no side panel? replace the glass from somewhere? or what?

Nobody tells me what I'm going to do or where I will be going and when that happens

I'm looking for serious replies only, please. I have a friend whose family 'escaped' from East Germany and moved to the US during the Cold War. My friend's opposition to socialism seems to be almost exclusively based upon this idea that their poor family had to 'run from evil communists'. This person either doesn't know or won't tell me what their family was up to in Germany from 1930-1945. I suspect they were nazis and were not 'escaping' socialism but hiding their participation in war crimes by moving to a country that would not persecute them for killing civilians etc. I know their grandfather's name (who was just a boy when his parents forcibly moved them all to the US). How would I go about proving my hypothesis that they were nazis? Are their databases with the names of nazi party members and so on? Any advice and guidance would be much appreciated. Thanks.
