Baubles and Scrooge Discussion from December 25th to December 31st, 2023 - The War on Christmas: Counteroffensive - COTW: Finland

Image: one of our POW camps filled with captured soldiers of the Christmas regime.

Season's greetings, fellow godless communists. I'm here to disseminate orders from our Supreme Communist Dictator as we once again find ourselves fighting against the very concept of Christmas. As a reminder, by the end of our five-year plan, we plan to be in a position to attack and dethrone God, but this intermediate step is required to fulfil this directive. Our forces in the field have made significant, if gradual, progress since you received your mission update last year. It has been difficult, but we have developed a series of defensive lines to prepare for a counteroffensive out of Lapland that will try and reach the Gulf of Bothnia in an attempt to cut the land bridge that we have set up across Scandinavia.

Currently, we foresee a few major threats. General Santa Clauswitz has been developing many tools in his workshop, including artillery-launched snowballs, barbed tinsel, and reinforced gingerbread armor plating for his tanks and infantry carriers. President Frostyy has made the following public statement: "The socialists who wish to destroy us have no idea what their defenses are about to face. Democracy will always defeat autocracy. Christmas will always triumph over X-mas. The leaders of the axis facing us are all on the naughty list and will be tried for crimes against festivity once this war is over."

Delusional as this may be, the next couple days will be the most dangerous as they stage their counteroffensive, and we need everybody to pitch in and get into defensive positions. We expect this to be the last major push that they will make before collapse. Please report any Christmas trees, mistletoe, or general symbology of the Christmas regime to your superiors.

Over and out.

  • I have survived the earthquake. Father house required repair. I have had a very busy time. I am very tired. My father want to give me the government money from the earthquake, but I want him to have it. Stubborn old man it is hard for him to accept.

I can answer question about the earthquake in Gansu province, China. There has been a lot of help but the weather has been very cold.

  • The Venezuelan who asked Argentinians to vote for Milei will not be able to continue studying medicine for free at the University of Buenos Aires due to the new policies for foreign students. This afternoon, he made a video lamenting his situation.

    lol

  • I got sent this Reddit link of some guy filming an auto store in North Korea and loudly saying that everybody there were actors putting on a show while people gave him weird looks. It's always astounding how some Qanon nutjob doing that in the US would be labelled as a far-right conspiracy theorist but do it in bad country and the liberals eat it up. Westerners are profoundly stupid to believe that shit. The funniest part was that there were other white dudes giving this guy weird looks.

North Korea is allegedly wanting to be a tourist destination and I fear for the number of sexpats, Evangelical missionaries, and ideologues that will be coming in.

  • On December 30th, 1922, The USSR was established through the confederation of Russia, Byelorussia, Ukraine and the Transcaucasian Federation.

    Happy USSR foundation day everyone.

  • Video on TikTok and telegrams floating around of a man who appears to have Down syndrome in combat gear at the frontlines in a trench in Ukraine. The Ukrainian cameraman is of course bullying him and fucking with him and mocking him.

Ukraine is getting so desperate it’s mobilizing people with Down syndrome to fight in trenches…

  • Yesterday the NYT had a headline about 15 Israeli soldier deaths in 24 hours. At the same time, Al Jazeera with the real news - Israel bombed a refugee camp and killed 70. The NYT is finally covering that bombing today, with the headline "Netanyahu Visits Gaza After Attack That Palestinians Say Killed Dozens". All the news that's fit to print. Jesus fuck I hate the New York Times.

  • I've been busy recently, but I have caught up on the latest news from Ukraine in the past few days and it's funny how even the western media are now accepting that Ukraine might be taking a huge L soon. So much cope and dooming from the Ukrainian side, while Russian media is finally really confident and free from doomers for the first time. I remember reading a substack article by Big Serge (what a shit name for a politics guy) a year ago titled "Gradually, and then suddenly". It feels very fitting to the current situation, as we're firmly in the transition phase from gradually to suddenly right now. Russians are now moving in every sector of the front except Kherson, which is destined to be frozen until Russia reaches the Dnieper on another sector. I keep being wrong in every prediction, but I really feel like this Russian strategy of slowly chipping away at multiple sectors is bound to generate a Ukrainian collapse in at least one sector soon. 2023 wasn't exactly an eventful year for us Ukraine War war watchers, with the map looking static as fuck everywhere except Bakhmut. 2024 looks like a more mobile year imo, we'll definitely see some significant movement somewhere this year.

  • Iraq is moving to kick out all coalition forces from Iraq after USA killed an Iraqi soldier in an airstrike against Iranian proxies (not “terrorists” like their mission in Iraq states)

  • I still can't believe the incredibly bad optics of bombing Bethlehem. But what is even more mind bending is that american evangelicals will support the literal bombing of the birthplace of their savior because it furthers their lust for the end times.

The US is probably going to do something insanely stupid like strike Yemen on Christmas or New Years with some stealth aircraft. Got to make modern wars like videogames and movies, add in some symbolism.

Well it wasn't the US bombing Yemen, but rather Israel bombing Bethlehem on Christmas. Got it half right I guess...

    This is just sickening honestly.

  • according to al jazeera they just bombed fucking Bethlehem, on CHRISTMAS. i mean, obviously its absolutely monsterous not matter when and where palestinians are being killed, but surely even the most hardhearted bastard at the IDF knows this is fucking terrible optics right? like, how can their hardline christian base in the us possibly swallow this??

  • "I'm a communist, thank god." - Flavio Dino. A 2019 interview has reemerged as Brazil sees the approval of its newest Supreme Court Justice.

Interviewer A: Governor. But you are a communist, You call yourself a communist. What does it mean to bea communist in 2019?

Flavio: I'm a communist, thank God. I think that's an answer for you...

    Interviewer A: Somewhat incoherent

Flavio: Not at all. On the contrary. It's in the Book of the Acts of the Apostles, chapter 4, verse 32, where you'll see...

Interviewer B: He's a communist with an iphone, But you're an iphone communist!

Flavio: But, of course, technology is essential. We want everyone to have technology, that's the difference; Some want technology to be for the few. We want it to be for everyone. And that's what being a communist means: defending communion, sharing, defending social justice. These values are updated. If we see that these principles are out of fashion, it means that society has failed. We believe in solidarity, coexistence and sharing.

Interviewer C: So communism is in favor of private enterprise?

Flavio: No, we live with the market. Xi Jinping, who is the president of China. He has a text that says, the market is an institution of society, it's not an institution of capitalism. So, of course, you live with the state, private companies, other human institutions.

  • U.N., they are Hamas folks

Israel is “abusing its powers” as an occupying force in Gaza to deny visas to certain UN staff, Francesca Albanese, the UN special rapporteur to the occupied Palestinian territories, told Al Jazeera.

  • The U.S. strongly condemns Israel's horrific strikes across Gaza today. As Netanyahu continues his brutal war of aggression, we must support Gaza in defending itself. Congress needs to act in the new year.

I'm just kidding. What Blinken actually said was...

The U.S. strongly condemns Russia's horrific strikes across Ukraine today. As Putin continues his brutal war of aggression, we must support Ukraine in defending itself. Congress needs to act in the new year.

    Nitter

  • Imagine you're a Zionist soldier who just got shot in the chest. In your final moments you see your squad come for you. You hope that they provide medical aid to you or something but they just start jacking you off and collect your cum then leave you to die.

  • Let me be clear: I think the Houthis are good and they should continue enforcing their rightful and moral blockade of the Zionist Entity otherwise known as "Israel" through violent means and anybody who tries to lift said blockade should be labelled a Genocide Supporter and destroyed.

Times are changing and it's about time we start being honest about stuff.

  • Repercussions about these new chinese government measures against lootboxes, gacha, gambling and so on have been quite a sieve. Even in the subreddits outright created to spread sinophobia you can tell who's just there because they enjoy having a psychotic break online.

    Turns out even

can tell when something is to their interest.

  • Today's Gaza combat footage, featuring another instance of planting a bomb right on the side of a tank.

Its crazy hiw small some of these tunnel holes are. Do you think some of them are improvised? Im thinking long horizontal tunnels with locations that can be very quickly dug or excavated to provide dynamic ambushes. It's crazy how close this guy pops up beside that tank

  • Evo Morales can no longer run for President.

Bolivia's Plurinational Constitutional Court has overturned a previous ruling by the same court allowing indefinite re-election. As a result, Evo Morales, the country's former president, cannot stand for re-election in 2025. The Court considered that the human right to be elected has limitations, and that the country's constitution prohibits more than two terms for one person.

Well, this sucks. I still have hope that Luis Arce and Evo Morales still reconciliate just like Lula da Silva and Marina Silva did.

  • Bit idea: Go into chud Facebook groups complaining about the lack of gloryholes in this day and age and blame their disappearance on “the woke mob”. Then try to get people riled up enough to start a movement dedicated to bringing them back.
