There's also some other fixes I didn't download here https://www.nexusmods.com/bloodborne/mods/41?tab=files I would suggest playing and downloading patches to fix whatever issues you face, these fixes seem to be intel specific I have an AMD cpu I can't find much info on if they're needed for AMD or not but game seems to play fine
Open shadps4 and install the game pkg file
Install the patch pkg file
Open the game installation folder and extract relevant mods into the folder and overwrite files
In shadps4 settings turn on fullscreen if you want
Right click on the game entry and click cheats and patches, click on patches tab and download patches
Select shadps4 XML at the bottom of the patches page
Enable skip intro, disable http requests, 60fps, force old hunters dlc, and if you want to upscale or downscale from the games native res you can select a resolution option below
Give it a whirl
I'd recommend this for people who've already played and wanna see 60fps or upscaled res its not a perfect experience for new players which can be frustrating. It also has lots of compilation stutter when you first run it which can suck if it happens at the wrong time.
I don't think I can run it (I can barely run dark souls on my laptop) but it's really good to see I don't have to get yet another piece of tech to play games that I'd really enjoy otherwise.
Did the emulator close completely or was it just unresponsive? When I installed the package the emulator was unresponsive but I just left it in the background and after like half an hour it finished installing. By the way, I also have a 1080ti and it runs mostly smoothly even with the 60fps patch, so hopefully the same will be true for you once the installation problems are solved! Other specs are an i5-10400 and 16GB RAM.
this worked thanks so much lol, it actually only took a few minutes, shows how patient i am... it is mostly smooth for me too, i'm thinking i give it another 6 months of dev time before starting a proper playthrough though.
hmm I will have to try this. it was unresponsive but when I restarted it the game had partially installed so you could be onto something. are you also on Linux?
I just tried this out the other day and it didn't yet quite run perfectly, so I guess I'll wait a few more months before playing it for the first time. Already waited almost a decade, what do a few more months matter now?
I got the inspiration to do this from this post claiming they platinumed the game. My experience so far is occasional stutter from shader comp that smooths out and a lot of random crashing. Sometimes its stable for a long time sometimes it crashes at the main menu. It's not there yet but fun to mess around with for me who's already finished the game multiple times on ps4
Its pretty close most of the effects are there it looks comparable to the console version. Feels pretty decent with 60fps but i haven't played much yet maybe less stable later idk
Great thread comrade. I've been wanting to try Bloodborne on PC since the recent breakthroughs in emulating it. Hopefully I can dump it from my brother's PS4, but if I can't, at least I'll know where to get it thanks to the thread you linked.
