As a pole, i cant agree enough about hating poland, the level to which this country has swallowed capitalist and reactionary ideology hook line and sinker, when it was communist just 36 years ago, makes me crazy
- One of the failures of the eastern block is underestimating the reactionary potential of latent nationalism. Poland should have been reeducated almost in its entirety.

Seriously though, the only reason to speak with militant anticommunists is to troll them, like repeating variations of ‘What do you mean?’ until they get either bored or frustrated. I explained yesteryear why arguing with them is a waste of time, but the gist is that they arrive at their politics through their class’s interests rather than pure reason.

torture is never justified. It is not useful for interrogation. If someone has done something so horrible you feel torture is justified just kill them and remove the danger they present to others. torture accomplishes nothing beyond satisfying the sadism of the torturer.

- Poland recognized the Palestinian Declaration of Independence issued by the Palestinian National Council in Algiers in 1988 and raised the degree of Palestinian representation to the level of an embassy with all privileges and rights enjoyed by other missions accredited to Poland - all east bloc countries did recognize palestine and supported them into some way.
