- That's why they are not a part of the EU.

  I saw on another thread from a month ago or so it's because you can finance one comparatively cheap, like 100 quid less per month, than other similar cars which means people are still buying them. Sorry I can't find the link but also yes I agree with your statement.

- The UK is pretty much the 51st state at this point, our PM is bending backwards to give Trump everything he asks for nothing in return an we're re-writing our laws based on demands from american based lobbying groups.
- Wait until the next quarter. A big tax break came to an end on EV's at the start of April.
  Tesla's after April will be taxed at about £600 a year, instead of £0 a year.

  However, I've hardly heard anything on the news about TeSSla issues, or musk doing Nazi salutes etc. I'm not defending us, as we should not trust our main media at all due to it being "Murdoch'd" for decades now.

- On behalf of my countrymen I can only apologise.
  I honestly dislike him as much as you and it's worrying that we're increasingly turning into another US.
  As others have mentioned though, the road tax rules (we pay very few tolls) have changed in the UK in April meaning it's now a lot more expensive to buy EVs than it has been in the past.
  I expect that if you looked at other manufacturers in the same time frame their sales would have increased a lot more than Tesla's.

Didn't realize the Tesla logo symbolized a down arrow.
- To me, it looks like an IUD or a uterus and fallopian tubes graphic.

Buying a new Tesla in 2025 says something about you as a person, and it isn't something good...

We could go even lower with some well-targeted tariffs.

Everybody is talking about the UK. And I'm just thinking why is Norway so low?
- It would be great to see the absolute values, too.
  I would guess, if sales were already very low, then it would be difficult to change the minds of the remaining few.
  Can't say without the raw data, though.
  
  That reasoning could explain Italy and Spain, but Norway is an early adopter of EVs. The early adopter really, they have far more EVs per capita than any other country.
  Edit: but I do agree that without absolute numbers or relative market share numbers, we only know half the story. All ev sales could be massively up compared to last year, while Tesla's only remained stable.

Brexit means Brexit!

I love the tone and am happy teslas is feeling the wrath, but also dislike a percentage based chart which doesn't show Tesla's total sales in dollars or euros. The problem here is that while it's a huge impact to Tesla, it's not nearly as much of an impact as you might expect because they sell a huge majority in the US.

- Yea, missing China, etc. Also, while there is still growth in UK, it doesn't indicate if that growth slowed.
- That graph should colour and sort by percentages, rather than raw figures. At the moment it's primarily a graph of population in EV-buying countries.
