If a conman learns his mark is a Cybertruck owner - he'll be thrilled because it's easy money. But it's no challenge at all to take candy from a baby.

This is a rhetorical question and I'm crazy to keep asking it - but how the ever loving fuck does Elon keep pulling this crap? Today Elon could say "By 2030 there will be 100,000 people on Mars here is the concept art..." and they're walking around outside in regular clothes. They don't need spacesuits because Elon is gonna a make a gigantic upsidedown fishbowl dome filled with oxygen. Some people will still believe him. In fact - they might get very angry if you politely say it can't happen. I just don't get it.
