I don't know why we would ever want to bring redditors here. I think redditors should leave when they have had enough of reddits bullshit, and if they like the 'verse, settle in. Redditors who are convinced to come will tryta recreate reddit vibe that i deliberately left. Too many breathless debatelord milksops, they can stay in their reddit slophole

  We've all got aspects of reddits worse qualities in our niche topics of interest, and the tribalism here isn't that much of an upgrade from the reddit hive mind.

I'm not sure I can bring myself to create an account on that site. I can't listen to people whine about how difficult it is to pick a server. - I made one because I was annoyed at people being wrong about the fediverse.
- old.reddit.com is still the only usable way to use Reddit. Whenever I find something in a web search that leads to Reddit, the majority of the content on the page is hidden unless I change the URL to old.reddit.com.
  The fact that they've conditioned the majority of users to prefer the new site means it's not the place for me anymore.

  It's the only way to browse some subs without logging in nowadays.
- I was one of the people that didn't understand the decentralization until Reddit went pure enshittification and I had to get used to it. I know it's not so bad but it's just a UX thing.
  I'm here now, so it turns out to be nothing but it can be confusing to users if it isn't clear what's going on.
