Sunday is Gaming Day: What are you playing thread.
  • Everytime I got on Twitter or YouTube I risk seeing spoilers lol. I remember when Elden Ring originally came out I could only play on weekends because I traveled weekly for my job at the time and eventually the final 3 bosses were spoiled for me by youtube videos that showed up in my recommendations

  • Sunday is Gaming Day: What are you playing thread.

I have finally started a new job after a month of listlessness, but all my spare time has been sunk into Shadow of the Erdtree. So far, I'm having a good time. Lots of exploring, and have bumped off 2 remembrance bosses.

  • I beat my first remembrance boss earlier today, definitely a trial and error affair. The open world seems tigher in scope but looser in direction at the same time. I got stopped dead cold by a boss in Jagged Peak and so turned to level my self up. Having a good time so far

Hope everyone had a good weekend. I was on a beach vacation so I did no gaming this week besides emulated pokemon on my phone before bed.

Sunday Is Gaming Day: What Are You Playing Thread (The Return)

I forgot to post this the past 2 weeks but im back. This past week a I played through the Demon's Souls remake to get ready for Elden Ring DLC. I also played some Binding of Isaac on the side. Haven't watched the Summer Games Fest, but everything I've heard is that it's been dreadful.

Forgot to post this yesterday because I was at work all day but feel free to share what you've been playing in the past week

Sunday is Gaming Day: What Are You Playing Weekly Thread

Another week of some binding of Isaac for me, but with the semester almost over I've been focusing mainly on academics with little time for gaming

I've played a lot of Binding of Isaac: Rebirth this week. I was surprised that I remembered what most of the items do and which trinkets are bad. But my muscle memory has faded completely at this point and I die a lot.

I also dabbled a little bit with Stronghold: Crusader. Always a classic

Yes, I'm still talking about Fallout: New Vegas. I have a question about the various factions.
  • As far as the main quest goes, you can't really do anything with the Followers, and the only thing you can do with the Kings is broker a treaty with the NCR if you're doing the NCR route.

    I usually do:

    Foil the Omertas

    Expose the White Gloves

Convince the Khans to suicide attack the dam

    Destroy the Brotherhood

    Ally the Boomers

I'm gonna start a weekly Sunday evening thread where we all talk about what we've been playing the past week.

I have been doing a replay of Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice this week. It's one of my favorite games and I was surprised how much muscle memory Ive retained for most of the major boss fights.

Never done post like this but I'm flat broke right now and just need some help getting through this week.

All my bills hit at once, and needless to say I'm pretty much broke until I get paid next Friday. Any help would be a lifesaver. DM me for venmo, PayPal, etc. Bless 🙌 🙏

    I 100% Stardew Valley - AMA!
  • The key to doing a Joja run as fast as possible is to build a windmill and grow exclusively wheat in summer/fall to mill into flour. The profit margin on it is insane. Everything you do in spring should be to set yourself up to create a massive wheat field

  • Im tired of multiplayer games
  • I feel the same way. I used to play lots of COD, Rocket League and eventually Fortnite, and I was burnt out because I never cared to devote enough time to actually get really good. Now I play primarily single player games. It's sad in a way because games were the only thing keeping me in touch with my high school inner circle, but games are supposed to be fun

  • What enemy/boss from a video game is your nemesis?

A boss you died to 1000 times, an enemy that still strikes fear into your heart every time you replay your favorite game, etc.

For me it's the Blood Starved Beast from Bloodborne. I died to it probably over 100 times my first playthrough no matter how many times I replay the game I still get torn to shreds repeatedly. Honorable mention cazadors from New Vegas

    What's a game/series that is critically acclaimed/considered a classic(s) that you don't think is really that good?

I've always found the Uncharted 4/The Last Of Us/God of War 2018 to all be decent, but all those games are kinda lacking in imteresting gameplay and are basically the video game equivalents of "Oscar bait"

I'm not insane right? Starfield looked incredibly bland right?

Ever since I was burned by Fallout 4 I've been incredibly skeptical of Bethesda games and so watching the Starfield showcase and it really just looks like Fallout 4 in space. Yet I'm seeing praise being heaped on it. I'm not crazy am I?
