Election Day is less than a month away, and Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump are hitting the campaign trail to deliver their final pitches to voters. Follow here for the latest live news updates.
TL;DR
It was unclear why Trump stayed on stage for so long and there was confusion about what was happening when he was up there.
Music played for more than 30 minutes as Trump stood on stage and occasionally made brief remarks in between songs.
Yeah, it's grubby AF. I get that the strategy is to normalise calling your opponent a loser so it feels matter of fact, but it's absolutely fucked that this is how major political candidates and operations work nowadays.
(Also, Harris won the last election, won the nom, and is still up in the polls, whereas Trump has lost so many major contests since 2016 he's uniquely qualified to be called a loser)
Just a reminder that fat donnie is always on some kind of drug that is not his actual prescription.
Dude was high as fuck and decided to stay tripping out on stage.
This is normal behavior for this walking train wreck.
The irony of the right wing insisting on jamming it to songs that mock or completely oppose their ideals by bands that would hate their guts is palpable
Specifically the Rich Men North of Richmond song. The singer explicitly stated that he wrote this song about them and it cracks him up to hear them playing it. But he does have a line in the song about not using taxes to help obese people, so I guess that's good enough for the Republican party.
Im still convinced he will drop dead from dementia or someshit by the end of the year. I suspect that they are pumping him full of drugs to delay the inevitable, certain stimulants can reduce the effects of mental degradation or even reverse it minutely.
Apparently, the directors changed the ending entire story of that movie. If they had stuck to the original script, it would have made a lot more sense. There's a YouTube video about it
For the longest time I thought I hallucinated this movie in a fever dream or something. I must have seen it as a kid back in the nineties. But it makes so little sense that I guess I thought I imagined it lol. Watched it like a month back and uh, it might as well have been a fever dream hallucination lmfao
It's got to be a money thing .... this guy only acts if it means he loses money or gains money.
It was probably a contractual obligation .... stay on stage for XX number of minutes and we'll pay you .... or we'll pull funding away from you .... whatever it was, it was enough to force him to stay on that stage, even if it meant he just stood there doing nothing.
