Am I supposed to ask stupid questions here, or not ask stupid questions?
Am I supposed to ask stupid questions here, or not ask stupid questions?
It’s kinda how you read the name, innit?

That is a stupid question
Hey, that's my line!
Yep, ban them.
Or...
That's exactly the kind of question this community was created for.
Now we must never answer it!
I feel like this communith is mostly suited for asking questions about things you feel like you ought to know, because everybody seems to know it naturally.
It can range from "How do I properly clean my foreskin?" to "what is ffmpeg and why is everybody using it?", but not "Who's the current president of Turkey?" nor "How do I calculate the circumference of a sphere?"
It's noy questions that can be answered by a "simple google search", but questions that might be answered by a single google search, but only if you know what to search for.

I am impressed that you have four closely related questions right off the top of your head!
You've asked in the right place my friend
No stupid questions.
No. Stupid questions.
No stupid! Questions!
No, stupid. Questions.
No! Stupid! Questions?
No shoes, no shirt, no stupid questions.
No stupid questions beyond this point.
There are no stupid questions.
We ain't judging no stupid questions.
Works on Contingency. No Money Down!
It implies that every question is valid and that there are no stupid questions to be asked.
Good job.
I think you're supposed to ask questions here that people elsewhere might think are stupid questions. The idea is that in this community, there are no stupid questions.
So that means that for the most part it's only stupid questions being asked here?
No, because there are no stupid questions.
This post is so meta.
It's So Meta Even This Acronym
You are supposed to ask questions that might be viewed as stupid, and you should receive an answer without judgement.
If you do that though you will get fucked and asked to install Linux.
Yes.
Strongly acknowledge statement received.
Yes, but that's why there is a sidebar.
Yes but.. the word stupid is not in the sidebar (other than the community name). I did check first! :)
How dare you do an appropriate amount of reading of the community rules before posting.

The mere fact that we're answering your question provides sufficient context to clarify the group's intentions, no?
It means that no question will be considered stupid and your intelligence/experise will not be judged. So feel free to as any question as long as you're sincere and serious.
You are supposed to ask stupid questions, but you actually can't, because there are no stupid questions.
Only stupid people
Nonono, you are not allowed to ask stupid questions, but since there are no stupid questions, you can ask away.
It's impossible to ask a stupid question here, actually. Try it!
Here, I'll do one:
******** ?
Yes, you should ask both stupid and non-stupid questions here. Only thing, it has to be a honest question and abide by the rules... No trolling, flaming or baiting.
No, stupid. This place is just for questions in general. Unqualified. No adjectives. No stupid**,** questions.
Just install Linux and see for yourself.
You can ask any question here.
Finally, a safe space to ask women how far they're along.
slap
You can try to ask stupid questions, but according to the title of this community you will never succeed
The full phrase is "there are no stupid questions."
Yes
are all questions asked here stupid questions? Or is that all questions asked here are about stupid things? Or is it perhaps that no questions are stupid, and we are just asking questions to gain knowledge?
Questions, questions, questions. Who has the answer?
I do. It's the last one.
you're the answer? Or are you the question, and if you're the question, which one are you? There are three of them.
in case you didn't get the joke, im referencing the very last line of the post, it's the same structure as the beginning of it, amusingly enough.
You ask questions here that you might feel stupid asking; questions you figure most people probably know, but you haven't figured out.
there is no to-ask-or-not,
just questions which are treated as they are.
It's missing a comma
I thought it's missing 1 Comma and 1 exclamation mark...
It is to be interpreted as "no questions here will be considered stupid".
Sure, there are exceptions, but most good-faith questions are OK, especially if it's something that you feel you should already know, or something you sim0ly fail to understand.
