Voting. Is. Not. An. Endorsement. Some blood gods are better than others. Enjoy being "morally pure" you privileged dipshits during Moloch's second term
Voting for them actually does endorse their actions as them being our so-called representatives are litterally acting in our name using our tax dollars to do evil shit. The DNC is excuding privaliage if they think we are going to re-endorse their bad actor for another term. Bvoting is the only performative say we realy have in this system.
And YOU. DON'T. OWN. US. YOUR. PARTY. IS. NOT. ENTITLED. TO. OUR. VOTES. WHEN. YOU. BACK. FASCISTS. AND. ASSIST. IN. GENOCIDE. AND. CRIMES. AGAINST. HUMANITY.
I'm not religious, but I am praying for the black wings of the god of death to descend on these two. Not that it would make a difference but at least it would end this particular game of charades
trying not to choke on the heaping helping of privilege I'm enjoying while sitting next to the space heater in this gasoline-stained garage, getting intermittent calls about my dad dying from kidney disease
yep, feels pretty nice to maintain my morals. Everytime genocide Joe gets up to some shit I can at least say to myself "I never voted for that fuck." Probably should try to run a candidate that's not completely immoral if that's something you're worried about.
Militarism, policing, immigration, healthcare (covid), inflation, leftist mobilization or lack thereof, weaponization of RICO laws against leftists and marginalized people, carbon pollution and fracking/drilling
Yes, some genocidal freaks actually ARE worse than other genocidal freaks, and Eichmann IS still worse than Röhm. But I hope all you privileged dipshits enjoy feeling "morally pure" during Eichmann's second term. 🙄
This will be the most important election in our history. Except for the last one. And the one before that. And the one before that. And the one before that. And the one before that. And the one before that. And the one before that. And the one before that. And the one before that...
But if he had gotten reelected he would have become a dictator and had absolute power. Thats how important the presidency is. Now let me tell you how Biden has literally no power to do anything actually.
a key Chigur move is to suddenly stop smiling before you say "of what use was the rule"
i know that 50% of how upsetting Javier came off in that movie has got to be that fucking haircut, but he definitely pulls his weight with his facial expressions and voice.
Further down he writes it "would be nice if a third party or a better candidate was viable, but they're just not".
Me, while I am shitting on the floor: "Sure it would be nice if the floor was clean and not full of shit, but it sadly is, so treating it like a massive toilet is sadly the only viable solution. I wish the floor wasn't full of shit too! If only there was a way to do something else, but sadly there isn't."
Edit: Like a bout of diarrhea, this analogy ran away from me. I am trying illustrate how, if you believe in representative democracy, then voting for any other reason than believing a candidate represents your values adequately, you will be poisoning the well.
The horrible thing is that democrat shills would probably call you privileged and tell you you're a fake jew and a slur for Hamas, we saw it in the MSM when US jews started protesting for Palestine (also when LGBT people speak up for Palestinians as well)
No it's actually the voters fault if he loses, because it's their responsibility to elect someone who they do not want elected <- Actual current discourse on twitter, libs need to be institutionalised
if you vote for holden bloodfeast after he says "vote for me and i'll bomb Iran" then everyone who's brain hasn't been destroyed by lead poisoning is going to think you want to bomb Iran
Just like there's no ethical consumption under capitalism, there is no ethical voting under a two-party imperialist capitalist state. The only thing you can do is choose the least bad option at every opportunity you get. And sometimes that means voting for bad people
There's almost a point there, but at the same time if you constantly defend your voting choice and act like it's extremely important, especially if it's a vote for the president, then something's gone wrong with your ideology.
The best thing to happen to Canadian politics is the Bloc Quebecois. Even in a FPTP system, Quebec achieved regional representation (which is, of course, why Quebec gets disproportionate amounts of government support).
The US lacks that. Canada's democracy is still fucked, but at least smaller parties can survive.
My interpretation of this knee jerk reaction from the libs is that I think both major parties supporting Israel even though they have lost the pr war and canot hide their genocide anymore is confronting libs with the contradiction betwin what they have been told all their lives, that they live in a democracy and all that, and the absence of actual choice, but they don't want to recognize that their "democracy" is a scam so they are coping by saying that it's a moral duty to vote for the "lesser evil".
