I am a Palestinian from The West Bank and I am a Communist
Hello as you’ve read from the title I’m a Palestinian who lives currently in the occupied territories of Palestine known as the West Bank ,my friend is a moderator here and he told me I should make a post introducing myself ,I once looked up “for Reddit but for leftists” and this is the site that I found ,anyways I personally love reading Manga ,Books, and Playing Chess
I am a Marxist Leninist ,can you believe the username Mohammed is not taken ? ,my friend told me that this space was too “white” but I didn’t think he was that right
Welcome comrade. This site has a collection of extremely good emotes that you can use to decorate your posts, probably the best collection out there. Enjoy your stay!
Salam and I'm glad you're here! I hope you know Palestine has the support and admiration of communists and anarchists all over the world. We're you're comrades and we'll all work together for a brighter future.
Also we're really gay and trans and we like memes and pictures of owls
Saludos Mohammed. The resilience and strength of the Palestinian resistance is being watched by those of us in the global south and has become a source of inspiration to many. Some of our governments may be beholden to Israel but there are many of us who wish to see Palestine be freed from colonial rule and oppression.
Welcome we have our problems, but it's usually fun as long as we're not doing a pointless struggle session on something silly or confusing new users by speaking in weird terms that exist only on hexbear.
Also we love posting to lib/fash trolls that wander in trying to start bad faith fights with us (though some think we do it too much).
I look forward to seeing you around comrade. What sorts of books and manga? Chess is interesting but I am lousy at it, anyone who knows how to play that without losing miserably every time is someone to respect...
So I've always been curious, what are relations like between Palestinian resistance groups of a more left/communist persuasion, and more Islamic nationalist groups? I know most had set aside ideological differences to form a popular front against Israeli colonialism, but I'm curious what kind of "discourse" does or doesn't happen between the groups and how their differences effect how they work together?
Welcome comrade! I look forward to seeing you around more often! Death to Israel!
this place is quite a bit white, but we have a strict policy on our geopolitics being anti american and anti western. You won't find any 'but do you condemn hamas' nerds here.
Check out lemmygrad too! its less white and even more Marxist leninist, but not as active lol.
From the River to the Sea, Palestine will be Free!
Welcome! I hope you stick around. It isn't huge but this is a pretty special place with the best (mostly english-speaking) leftist posters on the internet
Welcome comrade
" this space was too “white”"
I mean he has every right to complain and he is probably right but leaving this place as non white people will not make this place less white.
We're an interesting bunch. Aggressive, protective, educated, but also a bunch of users that are curious. Ask questions, respond to questions, you'll never be disappointed by the answers. Our friends at Lemmygrad will also help you out. I hope you enjoy our little piece of the net.
I'm going to try to try and convince my psychiatrist to watch an interview featuring Ghassan Kanafani soon and I think I have half a shot at being successful. Wish me luck.
